(A)typical

(A)typical is an animated blueprint that entails my scientific research on female High-functioning Autism (previously referred as Aspergers Syndrome) to raise public awareness of the condition. It significantly differs to male HFA (High-functioning Autism) as female with HFA often go unnoticed or misdiagnosed as being depressed and anxious, due to their masking behaviour. This requires exhausting efforts at camouflage throughout their lives.

A blueprint communicates myriads of informations in just a single sheet of paper. You can ensure you reach every milestone and build consistency and this assimilates to how an autistic brain is wired. This was an attempt to change people’s common perceptions against HFA and promote its strength and potentials as well as explaining how the brain is engineered differently.
